Hello, I’m Michelle
Welcome. Therapy does not have a prerequisite and anyone can benefit from it no matter the challenge or struggle. No issue is too big or too small. Each person has their own unique journey in life. Healing can mean different things to different people. Sometimes we have to step outside our comfort zone to grow, and yet there are important reasons why we remain contracted.
I feel a deep sense of privilege to work with people who, like you, are experiencing struggles or challenges in their lives and have taken the courageous step of reaching out for support.
I’ll provide a safe place for you to explore your heart and mind, heal from past traumas, develop compassion for yourself and tap into the power and resilience that lies within you.
“Although the world is full of suffering it is also full of the overcoming of it” Helen Keller
We have thousands of thoughts in a day, and those thoughts are not always accurate. Our thoughts impact how we feel, how we view ourselves and how we see the world around us. A shift in our thought processes can oftentimes lead to more calm and inner peace within our minds and bodies.
Maybe you’ve experienced trauma or are struggling with your mental health or an addiction issue. Perhaps you’re dealing with a life transition or loss. You may be feeling shame, anger, confusion, anxiety or depression. You may be looking for guidance in decision making or wanting to learn how to create boundaries in interpersonal relationships. You may feel like your struggle is “too much” or “not enough.” Whatever you are up against, I’m here to help you move through it and discover more power and vitality in your life.
“Shame dies when stories are told in safe places.” – Heather Lobe Johnson.

I lived in Ontario for many years but moved back to the East Coast to be closer to family after the birth of my daughter, who is now 9. I love to hike and camp with my family. There is something about the ocean and nature that is soothing to my soul. I enjoy cooking and baking. I am an avid reader and love to get lost for a little while in a good book. Yoga, mediation, spending time with the people I love and a healthy dose of introspection help me stay balanced in my own life.
