Hello, I am Andrzej
Welcome to my profile and to therapy.
I wonder what brought you here. Perhaps you are stuck, confused, stressed out and uncertain.
It is OK not to know. My role is to help you find out and make things better, different and clearer.
I invite you to talk about anything that matters to you in a conversation leading toward change, hope, and healing.
Your story is unique. I hope to explore it together in a spirit of curiosity and reflection. A genuine dialogue takes time and effort. Yet, a lot can happen in a conversation: different perspective, a compromise, better understanding of yourself, your partner, your child. Mutual understanding may translate into more connection, patience, intimacy and less conflict, criticism, defensiveness. Recognizing sources of hurt may mean more forgiveness and kindness.
Change is mysterious. It starts within, yet leads to change in the other and in your relationship. Change can be slow and frustrating, interrupted by inevitable setbacks, mixed with failures and victories, and repeated hurtful patterns, which seem impossible to break. Change brings hope and healing.
If therapy works, you will know it. I trust you will find the way to transform your relationships and lives toward more truth, love and happiness.
“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction both are transformed.’ Carl Gustav Jung

It is hard for me to separate therapy from my world. I find the world a fascinating place, continuously evolving and changing. When I left Poland 30 years ago, it was a communist state. Witnessing the fall of the Berlin Wall in West Germany was an incredible experience. A few concrete crumbs of the Wall are one of my most precious possessions. It seemed that history stopped then to make the world a better place forever. Yet, history does not stop and the world keeps changing. Sometimes for better,
sometimes for worse. I often wonder how hard it is to stay hopeful and resilient in the face of adversities, setbacks, and seemingly insurmountable odds.
You might have guessed that I am into news, politics and history. I also enjoy good writing, all kinds of jazz, and occasionally overdo watching TV shows and movies. I am married and old enough to be a grandparent of two completely different twins, who cannot yet pronounce the word ‘hope’, but are a definite source of it.
One more thing….
Over the years, I have witnessed existential and relational suffering, which eclipsed the most advanced theories and therapeutic practices. I saw the power of trauma able to harm emotional and psychological well-being, cripple relationships, and extinguish hope. I was humbled by the power of people in reclaiming their happiness, regaining hope, rebuilding relationships and moving toward meaningful and fulfilling lives.
